£28k - 32k DOE and 10% of your basic salary as commission.

are looking to recruit an experienced area manager
to cover the south west region of the United Kingdom.

Main
responsibilities
Business
:
- Establish
budget investment, trading terms and conditions
to ensure profitability per account.
- Analyse
sales forecasting, stock levels and returns to drive
the objectives. Review the sell-in and sell-through
of all key journeys actions with particular emphasis
on Xmas, and priority launches.

Prepare and review (with Commercial Director) retail
and wholesale targets for all designated accounts.
Sales
and Marketing:
- Adapt
marketing plans and build specific events and promotions
to the appropriate buyer and the securing of opening
orders.
- Enhance
image and standard of area by improving the site,
space and positioning of the brand.
- Generate
increased sell-through by negotiating improved space,
shelf location, second site and window displays.

Carry out regular stock and order procedures in
B.P. accounts.
Management :
- Responsible
for the selection, recruitment and retention of
Beauty Consultants.

Ensure all staff are monitored to achieve all targets
and where appropraite, prepare and action training
& development plans for all staff to ensure performance
levels are achieved.
- Build
and develop strong relationships with buyers and
store management.

Ensure all customer complaints are resolved in a
timely manner.
In this position you will be responsible for approx.
20 Consultant department stores(which means staff
in large other department stores who are employed
by your HQ) with approx. 35 Beauty consultants/Managers
reporting into this role. With approx. 80 non-consultant
accounts. (to be explained at a later date)
You
should at least 3 years experience in a similiar role
and have a passion for the beauty and fragrance industry.
Managerial experience and ideally retail knowledge.
