Client is an Internationaly renowned gaming organisation.
They are looking to recruit a special type of person
to work in the finance department.
The company’s European Publishing division is growing
rapidly across 8 countries, such as the U.S., Canada,
the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Australia,
Scandinavia, Spain and the Netherlands.
Position: Finance Analyst

to: Senior Commercial Analyst
Job purpose: To maintain the EUP HQ and UK OPEX actuals,
forecast and budget, and provide consolidation and
reporting for EUP OPEX, enabling timely and relevant
management information to be provided to senior management.
To
support the Financial Planning team in analysing management
information for decision making.

Key Responsibilities
1. Annual Operating Plan 20%

Work with Fin Accounting and Dept Managers in managing
OPEX actuals 15%
4. Analysing and investigating variances to AOP and
Forecast 25%
5. Other tasks, regular reporting or ad hoc requirements

2. Training and Development Responsibilities (include
self development and training of others if applicable)

Position Responsibilities
o
Primarily responsible for updating and maintaining
EUP HQ and UK OPEX actuals, forecast and budget
o Analysis and reporting of OPEX actuals, forecast
and budget for UK and all territories within EUP
o Close Liaison with HR, Financial accounting, and
territory Finance Managers to ensure validity of actuals
and forecast.
o
Working with Financial Accounting to ensure accuracy
of OPEX actuals
o
Analysis of territory forecast/budget submissions
and questioning of anomalies
o
Provide regular OPEX reports to budget holders and
other stakeholders, with comparisons against previous
forecast and AOP
o
Work with Budget holders to develop OPEX reporting
and ensure transparency of information o Understand
and be able to explain to senior management all elements
of OPEX budget and variances against it. Proactively
propose cost savings from this review.
o Develop a process for the review of OPEX forecasts
and ensure controls are in place to avoid surprises.
o
Quarterly analysis on EUP OPEX for SEC
o Assist Senior Commercial Analyst with Localisation,
VS&M and other ad hoc duties in accordance with the
needs of the department
