Our
client is a well known manufacturer based in Slough.
A
position has arisen for a PR/Marketing
Candidate
to join the firm.
-
1.Public Relations To provide tactical PR advice.
Implement sustained media relations programmes and
draft articles and press releases. Responsible for
issuing, monitoring and drafting positioning statements
and Implementing PR launches.
- 2.General
Administration Draft and conduct presentations as
and when required. Be responsible for organising
PR promotions, awards programme and hospitality
events. Develop new and existing media contacts.
Ensure PR Exec liaises with Product Managers across
all product sectors and other member of the Marketing
Services Division. Manage all press cuttings and
produce a monthly cuttings book and also electronic
versions. Ensure Media Disk software package is
kept up to date with media contacts and lists
- 3.Reporting
Responsible for providing monthly reports and quarterly
and annual PR reviews including Relative Ad value
of all editorial coverage received. Additional where
relevant utilise the cycle.

4.Communication with European Counterparts Liaise
with European colleagues to ensure consistency of
brand image through press relations. Liaise with
designated PR Agency as assigned by the firm and
attend where necessary relevant European meetings
pertinent to areas of responsibility.
- 5.Line
Management Undertake normal supervisory responsibilities
which include providing support to the team, monitoring
and allocating workloads, monitoring and approving
sickness and holidays, handling any grievances and
disciplinary actions, should they arise and undertaking
staff appraisals. Provide reports as required in
any exceptional circumstances.

6.Finance Responsible for managing relevant PR budgets
per business line, utilising in house procedures.
Raising purchase orders as and when required and
seeking relevant authorisation.
