Our Well known and ever
expanding corporation based in Windsor is looking
to recruit a Semi-Senior Auditor.
POSITION
1. Purpose of Job
1.1 To conduct audits
of smaller limited companies and to assist in the
audits of larger limited and Plc companies.
1.2 To prepare statutory
financial statements for audit and non-audit clients,
including unincorporated entities.
2. Principal Responsibilities
2.1 Planning and completing
audits for a range of clients in the most efficient
manner possible, demonstrating a clear understanding
of the client and its business and business needs.
2.2 Assisting senior
members of the audit team in completing larger audits
by ensuring good and effective communication including
liaising with managers and directors as to the progress
of the audit.
2.3 Assisting in the
coaching of more junior members of the audit team
on both smaller and larger audits, both practically
and theoretically.
2.4 Identifying audit
issues and communicating with managers, directors
and clients as appropriate to resolve issues effectively
and efficiently.
2.5 Liaising with clients
to ensure smooth progression of the audit and effective
resolution of any audit issues.
2.6 Identifying potential
opportunities with client base for cross-selling other
services such as Outsourced accounting, taxation services
and HR.
2.7 Work to broaden
base of technical knowledge through training at FT
and on the job.
3. Key results Areas
3.1 Achieve agreed recovery
on jobs and completion of audit within agreed timetable.
3.2 Developing trust
and professional relationships with all colleagues
and clients with whom in contact.
3.3 Demonstrate excellent
technical knowledge gained through study and other
communications and its appropriate application.
4. Qualification/Attributes
4.1 Self –motivation
and confidence in abilities to provide the highest
quality service to this company and its clients.
4.2 Be flexible and
able to adapt to different working environments and
colleagues and a diverse range of clients.
4.3 Problem solving
attributes including succinct analysis of the problem
and provision of potential solutions.
4.4 Excellent communication
skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to
liaise with people at all levels both inside and outside
the organisation.
4.5 Excellent organisational
skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
for self and others where appropriate.
4.6 Ambassador for
this corporation, representing the firm in the best
possible way and promoting the firm where possible.
