Position
SALES
- Generating and securing business from major contracts
including term contracts.
CLIENTS
- Meeting external clients in and around the M25 to
build rapport and develop business.
CUSTOMER SERVICE - Offer solutions, advice & support
to customers & colleagues.
PROJECT
MGT - Manage major projects, Dealing with contract
through from initial to conclusion stage.
BUSINESS
UNDERSTANDING - Gather market information, develope
strategy.
RELATIONSHIP
BUILDING - Building up a book of clients, "People
buy from People", Being that person.
TEAM LEADERSHIP - Set an example to sales team, although
not directly managing staff show you are the senior
one of the team. Offering support and advice when
needed.
Working closely with external sales and post sales
administration departments, through promotion/sales
of the companies services and products, ensure that
targets and customer services are achieved
Principal
Accountabilities
-
* Proactively seek and follow up sales leads and
secure orders optimising levels of product use from
current and potential customers/accounts
-
* Target activity to achieve targets in terms of
volume and price for the company's product from
current and potential customers/accounts/territory
-
* Develop new business and business associations
-
* Use the ABI data and local knowledge to build
a daily updated database of construction projects
-
* Raise and maintain Projects, Project tracking,
Quotes and Contracts on the One World system
-
* Develop professional and mutually beneficial and
sustainable relationships with customers, their
buyers and key personnel - Maintain appropriate
planning and record of activity using systems provided
to show achievement of KPI's/Targets

* Maintain full and accurate customer information/database

* Make planned filed visits to selected customers
-
* Provide feedback to the team on Competitor activity,
prices and products

* Contribute to effective stock management by liaising
with production personnel
-
* Work closely with Weybridge staff and provide
them the necessary information to process orders
in a timely and effective manner

* As part of the commercial team ensure that the
aged debt and customer payment terms are adhered
to

* Undertake any other duties which may be reasonably
required Experience and Qualifications

Full clean driving license

* Computer literate - MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Sales experience
- *
Experience within construction
- *
Relationship building skills with ability to interact
at all levels
- *
Ability to work within a team Ideally the candidates
with have a high level of drive and enthusiasm,
proactive, self motivated, adaptable, positive and
resilient and an effective communicator
